PRE CARE
PLEASE NOTE: THIS REFERS TO COSMETIC TATTOOS ONLY. FOR AESTHETICS PRE CARE, PLEASE REFER HERE.
ALL SERVICES
No caffeine day of appointment.
No alcohol at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
No blood thinning medications (high-dose Aspirin, ibuprofen [Advil], naproxen [Aleve], fish oil, Vitamin E) 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Refrain from using anti-aging skin care products around the area at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. This includes retinol, glycolic acid, vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs, and any brightening or whitening products.
Any treatments such as chemical peels, micro needling, and exfoliations should take place at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
No surgeries or major medical procedures (this includes dental) at least 6 weeks prior to your appointment.
MARIJUANA USERS: Marijuana can affect pain tolerance, causing procedures to seem more painful. Marijuana use can also affect the bloodstream, causing bleeding or swelling. Please refrain from use prior to appointment.
BROWS
Discontinue use of any brow growth serum 1 month prior to your appointment.
Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeauveau) should take place at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
No waxing or tinting 1 week prior to your appointment.
EYES
Discontinue use of any lash or growth serum 3 months prior to your appointment.
Refrain from retinol products around the area 1 month prior to your appointment.
Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeauveau) should take place at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
No lash lifts/tints at least 2 weeks prior (and 2 weeks after) your appointment.
No lash extensions at the time of your appointment.
If you have a stye or eye infection, you cannot get tattooed.
If you have glaucoma or ocular hypertension, you will need to provide note from your healthcare provider.
CONTACT WEARERS: all contacts must be removed at the time of service. It is the your responsibility as a client to manage your contact equipment. PLEASE NOTE: this procedure will not affect vision or cause blurriness post-procedure. However, there may be slight swelling post-procedure, and may pose difficulty in contact insertion. It is recommended to bring a pair of eyeglasses (if needed) to your appointment.
LIPS
Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeauveau) or fillers should take place at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
If you have had a history of cold sores and/or fever blisters, you must take anti-viral medication (such as Acyclovir) every day at least 3 days prior to your appointment, the day of, and continue to use 3 days after your appointment. Lysine, an amino acid that has been reported to prevent cold sores, can be purchased over the counter and be taken as directed at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
Exfoliate and moisturize your lips with a balm or ointment (such as Vaseline or Aquaphor) every day for 5 days leading up to your appointment.
Please eat PRIOR to your appointment. You will need to avoid eating 2-3 hours post-procedure.
